Fractional CEO
A launch website and SEO plan for a new fractional executive firm.
Read the Fractional CEO case study →hi, Sandton
Websites for Sandton, Randburg and Midrand B2B and professional services firms: credible to a senior buyer, clear about what you do, and built to book meetings.
the problem
Sandton buyers are senior, busy and comparing. They skim your site between meetings and decide in under a minute whether you look like a firm they can put in front of their CEO. A dated design, vague services or no named people quietly takes you off the shortlist.
what I do about it
I build sites that state clearly what you do and for whom, put people and proof up front, and make booking a meeting a one-click job. Fast, accessible, SEO foundations in place, and tracking so you can see which pages produce inquiries.
pick one, or connect them all
A custom site with meeting booking, people and case study pages, fast loading and SEO foundations. Fixed scope, typically 3–6 weeks.
Get found by Gauteng buyers already searching: technical fixes, service pages and your Google Business Profile. See SEO services in Johannesburg.
Website, SEO, outbound and CRM follow-up run as one system, so every inquiry gets a reply in minutes, not days.
only true in Sandton
Sandton is full of head offices, financial firms and professional services. The person reading your site often reports to a board. They want substance, not slogans.
A Randburg service business and a Midrand logistics firm search and buy differently from a Sandton consultancy. If you serve several nodes, the site should say which.
Same time zone, every call on video, and you deal with the person building your site. You skip the Rivonia Road traffic, and so do I.
Consultancies, advisory firms, recruiters, financial and legal practices: the buyer is buying people and judgement. The site has to show both quickly.
There’s an unwritten rule that a firm’s website should be at least as current as its email signature. Plenty of Sandton firms are breaking it.
| Agency | Independent designer (me) | |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds the site | Designers and developers on a team | One person, start to finish |
| Your point of contact | Usually an account manager | The designer, directly |
| Good when | A large site with many internal stakeholders | A focused site built to win meetings |
If you’re comparing, ask each option who will design and build your site, and whether you can speak to that person before signing.
Randburg has plenty of owner-run service businesses. Their buyers want to see the areas covered, real photos and an easy way to call or WhatsApp. Midrand sits between Johannesburg and Pretoria, with logistics, tech and industrial firms whose buyers compare specs and want a quote.
Same principles, different emphasis. I build each site around the step its buyer wants to take, whether that’s a booked meeting, a call or a quote request. For Pretoria-side businesses, see web design in Pretoria.
Every site I build is a fixed fee, scoped to what you need, with the price agreed before work starts. What moves it: the number of pages and services, whether the copy needs writing, and tools like booking or CRM connections. A custom build and WordPress are priced differently.
No forty-page proposal, either. You get a clear recommendation and a number, which is all a proposal ever needed to be.
Typically 3–6 weeks. Firms with several partners should plan for sign-off time. A shared preview link saves more time than another meeting.
Want to know which of this your site actually needs? Book 30 minutes and I’ll tell you what I’d fix first.

With me it’s a fixed fee scoped to your pages, copy and tools. You get a clear price on the call, before any work starts.
No, I’m in Cape Town and work with Sandton firms on video calls. Same time zone, and you always talk to the person doing the work.
Yes. I build for B2B and service businesses, including advisory, executive search and capital advisory firms.
Yes. I work with businesses across Johannesburg and Gauteng, and the site is built around how your particular buyers decide.
Typically 3–6 weeks. For firms with several partners, internal sign-off is usually the slowest step.
your move
No pitch. No pressure. I’ll look at your site the way a senior buyer would and tell you what I’d fix first, whether or not we end up working together.
